Fitzgerald Umah
Fitzgerald Umah is an Architect, Product Manager, Project Manager, and Business Leader with over 20 years of experience in the Building Construction Industry. He specializes in architecture, project management, construction, and product management, with deep expertise in product specifications, material properties, and finishing materials.
As Hedge Point LLC's Founder & Principal Consultant, Fitzgerald leads strategic initiatives in innovative building solutions, sustainable infrastructure, and advanced material technologies. His background spans the construction and telecommunications industries, making him a versatile leader in project execution, material innovation, and business strategy.
Fitzgerald previously served as a Senior Project Manager at the Division of Design and Construction, University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he played a pivotal role in project scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and capital project development. His ability to align design intent with execution ensured seamless project delivery and facility occupancy.
He has also successfully led significant architectural and construction projects, including the invariant design of Total Energies Nigeria PLC Gas Station. He has led and completed many telecommunication projects in the United States as a project manager. Additionally, he serves as a Project Sponsor for affordable housing developments in Nigeria and Kampala, Uganda, reinforcing his commitment to sustainable and accessible housing solutions.
He has a Master’s Degree in Project Management from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, where he was honored as the graduate speaker for the College of Engineering at the Spring 2023 graduation ceremony.
A Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Lagos, where he was one of the top students in his class and won the University Graduate Assistantship Award in 2004.
A Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.
He has also pursued further professional development, including The Arctic Engineering Course at the University of Alaska, Anchorage (2021), a key requirement for architectural licensure in the State of
Alaska. Agile Project Management Certification at the University of Alabama, Birmingham (2024).
Fitzgerald is a registered architect with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria and a committed member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), where he served two terms as Chairman of the NIA Lagos State Chapter.

Dr. Umah Chiamaka T. MD, MPH,
Chiamaka Theclar Umah is a highly experienced Medical Doctor with over 15 years of expertise in clinical medicine, public health, infection prevention, and control. She is completing a Pathology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she also holds leadership roles in medical education and diversity initiatives.
Chiamaka is an alumnus of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria, and holds a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. She is Certified in Infection Control (CIC) by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC) in the United States.
With her extensive experience in Environmental Health and Safety, Chiamaka plays a crucial role at Hedge Point LLC, ensuring that all products meet U.S. regulatory codes and adhere to environmental compliance standards.
She is a registered member of several prestigious medical organizations, including:

GBENGA IGE
Gbenga is an angel investor and a Strategy and Business Operations leader at Microsoft. He leads initiatives and partnerships to mature Microsoft's Digital Natives business and sales motions. Previously, he led cross-functional efforts to build AI enablement capabilities for the Microsoft seller community.
Before Microsoft, as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, he led transformations to build new capabilities in organizations to drive step changes in business performance. He has also advised C-suite executives in sales and marketing, demand/portfolio management, organization design, acquisitions, vendor management and overall strategy topics. He started his career as an Engineer leading teams to deliver precision control systems in the automotive industry at Cummins.
He holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho. He earned his BSc from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
